Photographed by Kyle Hale – see the complete set of pictures in the gallery

Hello lovely readers,

How are you doing? I’m on an Icelandic kick lately myself. This might have to do with my planning the last details for the upcoming summer holidays, which will involve a trip to Iceland! I have never been there before, but the more I immerse myself in reading and beautiful pictures, the more excited I get to see all this beauty in real life… And so, I think it is really quite appropriate that we start off this weekend with a rather lovely, travel inspired wedding, which Kyle Hale sent my way.

If you’ve been reading wedding blogs as religiously as me for a while, then you might recognize this wedding from when it was featured on 100 Layer Cake a while ago – I know I did, and this goes to show that what I’m about to show you in these next posts is nothing short of memorable… the photography, the nature, the amazing details (oh, just wait and see!) and of course the absolutely lovely bride and groom, Christina and Mark.

Let’s just dive into the gorgeous pictures from the wedding, shall we?

See what I mean? This is the beauty which awaits me… ↑

Quite a gorgeous bouquet, don’t you think? And dashing groom and groomsmen, in simple attires – I like, very, very much!

I am sooo loving the bridesmaids dresses – there’s something so folkloric about them, and so perfectly matching with the surroundings…

Also love the simple bridesmaids bouquets of baby’s breath…

See what I mean? So different and so mesmerizing. Oh, I can’t wait to go!

And, by the way – I think you should prepare yourselves for a blast of inspiration coming up in the next post!

Yes, it really is gorgeous, isn’t it? I really hope to feature many more Icelandic weddings… and if I can take pictures just half as good as these when I’m there, I’ll be soooo happy :)

What do you think?
