Spring is in the air! I have snowdrops popping up in the garden, and this weekend was sunny, with a crisp, blue sky… So I’m feeling all energised for this week, and can’t wait to get started :)
So today I have a wedding which is part princess, part rock’n'roll. My designed her own dress, in thai silk and with a big bow on the back – simple, but perfect. She wore her favourite bracelet, made up of little, silver sculls.
Tamara adds: “My and Marcus has a fun wedding in Skåne in southern Sweden. It occurred on the hottest day of the year, but My was terrified of there being a thunderstorm! Especially as their wedding was in a marquee because 3 weeks before their wedding they had a venue crisis and had to find somewhere new as the venue had been double-booked! But it all turned out perfectly in the end.”
The venue ended up being a large marquee with tall candelabras and dripping chandeliers. Purple is Marcus’ favourite colour – I love all the lilac hues that we see in everything from the tie to the table decor, from lavender over to deep bordeaux. Edgy and a little regal.
I simply love the bride’s expression in these photos:
Aren’t the little princess and king crowns on the cake lovely?
